Preserve the Pensions - The Federation of Genealogical Societies, the National Archives and Fold3 (formerly along with the genealogical community have started a project to digitize the War of 1812 pension files.  President Eve Love presented FGS President, Pat Oxley a check for $1,000.00 from SMCGS to help with the digitization of the 1812 pension files.  This will digitize 2,000 images.
